The Xbox app has become the go-to for any gamers playing between Xbox and PC. The app offers a variety of features, such as remote gaming, use game captures, talk with friends, and more. For those who don't use the app and never will, it's just another piece of bloatware taking up space on your Windows 10 PC. Windows 10 brought a ton of new and awesome features.One of the best features is the new Xbox app. Even if you don't have an Xbox, this app is useful for everyone. You can use it to record games.
On your PC, go to Xbox.com and select Sign in. If there are problems with your account, the instructions will help you solve them. If you can't go beyond the sign-in screen, select Forgot my password and follow the instructions.
If that didn't work, select the Start button > Settings > Time & language. Under Date & time make sure the Set time automatically setting is turned on. Open Time & language settings
If none of those options work, select the Start button > Settings > Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Remove. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed. Open Settings
A week ago Microsoft renamed the old Xbox App to the Xbox Console Companion App, to make way for a new Xbox App experience for Windows 10.

- The new Xbox app and Xbox Game Bar work together seamlessly, so players can keep up the conversation from the social tab as they play.

Major Nelson has said the app will require the May 2019 Update for Windows 10.
